The Tanerdy Tavern (the red dot on the map) lies on the A484 (the old A40) in Tanerdy on the outskirts of Carmarthen, near the roundabout and turning to the A485 and West Wales General Hospital. It is just a few minutes East from the centre of Carmarthen. It has a large car park at the rear. From the west and south, get off the A40 onto the A4242 at the B&Q roundabout. Climb the hill past the County Hall onto the A484 and travel along Spilman Street, past St. Peter's Church and onto Priory Street. Carry on along the A484 until you pass a petrol station on your left. The turning for Tanerdy Tavern is then on the left, before reaching the big roundabout near the turning to Glangwili hospital. From the east, get off the bypass at Abergwili onto the A484 and after the Glangwili roundabout at Tanerdy, look for the right turn before the petrol station. SatNav: SA31 2EY |
